Independent insurance agents are just that: independent, licensed professionals whose knowledge of insurance coverage and marketplace conditions helps healthcare providers make wise decisions about their insurance protection. The independent agents representing Princeton Insurance choose to partner with us and our policyholders. Their role in helping us keep policyholders informed is crucial.
In 2005, a new online policy system for agents was instituted, designed to enhance their ability to service policyholders and cut down on the amount of paper used in their offices.
Princeton also worked in 2005 to provide agents with targeted tools to keep them informed. An Agent Marketplace Update along with Quarterly Financial Statements were published to keep agents up-to-date on Princeton’s financial performance and operational initiatives, as well as competitor information and marketplace happenings. Agents have responded very positively to these reports.
As with policyholders, representatives of our Marketing Department also spent considerable time in 2005 performing Agent Visits. Every Princeton agent is visited at least once every year, with the goal of maximizing the service provided to policyholders by both the company and its independent representatives.
The medical professional liability marketplace in New Jersey has seen its ups and downs. Companies have entered and exited, some have even failed. The knowledgeable, independent insurance agents representing Princeton are a great resource for policyholders, and another important “part” of the 30 year partnership our company has enjoyed with the New Jersey healthcare community.
