In an ongoing effort to reach out to the community, Princeton Insurance sponsored a radio spot earlier this year, which ran on WWFM The Classical Network (WWFM 89.1 and WWNJ 91.1 Mercer County Community College). The spot stressed the importance of regular mammogram screenings.
It aired a total of 20 times, beginning on January 9, 2006.
The spot could be heard Monday through Friday on January 16 between the hours of 8 and 10 a.m., on January 23 between the hours of 6 and 8 a.m. and on January 30 between the hours of 8 and 10 a.m.
Here is a transcript of the message:
“Princeton Insurance reminds the women of our community to have screening mammograms at recommended intervals. Today's low dose, state-of-the-art mammography can detect tumors too small to be discovered by touch. Please do not delay because early diagnosis can mean that you will have a better-than-95-percent chance of successful treatment. This important message has been underwritten by Princeton Insurance Co. in Princeton… on the air because they care about the health of our community.”
